Draft — for the studio owner to review before launch
The Timber Atelier aims for a website that everyone can use. This statement describes what we have built in and where we are still learning.
What we do
The site has a skip-to-content link, semantic landmarks and headings, visible keyboard focus, labelled form fields with clear error messages, and touch targets of at least 44 pixels.
Motion
If your device is set to reduce motion, scroll-linked movement and the moving text banner are switched off, and all content remains visible in a static layout.
Interactive parts
Project case studies and the film open in dialogs that trap focus, close with the Escape key, and return you to where you were. The before and after comparison and the timber selector work with the keyboard.
Known limits
Some imagery is illustrative and will be replaced with real project photography. If you find something hard to use, please tell us through the enquiry form and we will work to fix it.
The studio owner should review this statement against an accessibility audit before launch.
