SELECT WITH PURPOSE.
Good work starts with good material. Choose timber for the brief, place, function, and how the work will be lived with.
Independent timber studio / Design + Make
Bespoke timber architecture, considered joinery and spaces made around the way you want to live.

of permanence.

The studio
Every line is considered. We choose timber that will age well, shape it around how a space is used day to day, and give each joint a maker's attention. The result is work that feels calm on the first day and better on the thousandth.

Selected projects
The studio focuses on timber work that benefits from careful judgement, good material, and fine detail.
01
Structural timber, outdoor rooms, and carefully resolved frames.
02
Kitchens, storage, and made-to-measure details.
03
Repair and renewal that respects the character of the original piece.
Process
We take work from the first measure through to a considered handover — so what is drawn is what is built, and what is built is easy to live with.
Frame to finish
An illustration of one timber frame at a single camera angle — not a real client project. Use the slider or arrow keys, Home and End.
The materials

A rough description of what you have in mind, where it will go, any photos, drawings, or inspiration you already have, and a rough budget and timing if you know them. None of it needs to be final.
It depends on scope, materials, complexity, and the site, so there are no fixed published prices. After hearing your brief, the studio will talk through the scope and provide a written quote.
Yes. Mention them in your brief and share any drawings; the studio can talk through how to coordinate.
Send it through anyway. Describe what you have in mind and the studio will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit.
Draft answers, for the studio owner to confirm.
Share even a rough outline — what you have in mind, where it will live — and the studio will take it from there.
